surficial sediment and kimberlite boulders from the Lake Timiskaming and Kirkland Lake kimberlite 
fields, Ontario and Quebec, within NTS 31M, 32D, 41P and 42A.

Startup
___________________

To open the Kimberlite database, start Windows Explorer, go to the CD and 
double-click OF_5833_Kimberlite.mdb.Another option is to start Microsoft® Access®, 
click on File - Open and navigate to where the file OF_5833_Kimberlite.mdb is located.

Prior to using the database, Microsoft® Access® must be installed on the computer.


System requirements

Processor:		Intel® Pentium® or Intel® Xeon® 
CPU Speed:		800 MHz minimum recommended or higher
Memory/RAM:		256 MB minimum, 512 MB recommended
Display Color:		Greater than 256 color depth
Disk Space:		Typical 200 MB NTFS.
OS:			Windows® 2000 Professional® (Service Pack 4), 
			Windows® 2003 Server Terminal Services, Windows XP 
			Windows® XP Home Edition (Service Pack 1,),
			Windows® XP Professional Edition (Service Pack 1 and 2)
Video Card:		An OpenGL® 1.1 or above compliant video card is required,
			with at least 32 MB of video memory, but recommended 
			64 MB of video memory.


Required Software

Microsoft® Access® 2000 or higher, Microsoft® Word® 2003 or later 
Internet Explorer® v 6.0 or later. Adobe® Reader® v. 6.0 or later
