About the CD-ROM

This CD-ROM contains new maps in portable document format (PDF) and
data tables in hypertext markup language (HTML), as well as
previously-released publications of the Geological Survey of Canada
and the British Columbia Geological Survey.


The SPLASH PAGE
---------------
This is an Autoplay CD.  Inserting the CD into your CD-ROM drive
will automatically launch the splash page, a panel from which you
can explore the contents of this CD.  On some systems the autoplay
functionality will not work.  In this case you can start the splash
page by clicking on intro.exe in the root directory of the CD.


Directory Structure
-------------------
The CD-ROM contains four main directories:

    \apps       - AdbeRdr8.exe (Adobe Acrobat Reader V.8.0)
    \doc        - documentation in HTML
    \data       - data sets in various formats
    \intro      - files used by the Intro application
