GEOLOGICAL SURVEY OF CANADA OPEN FILE 5299 E.K. Tripsanas, D.J.W. Piper and K.A. Jarrett 2007 List of files available on the DVD and this Open File Report Sediment cores and seismic reflection information was collected during four cruises, 2002 Harrison, Hudson 2003-033, Hudson 2004-024, and Hudson 2005-033B. The core descriptions, geotechnical properties, and photographs of the cores can be seen in Appendices A1-4, and they are organized into four groups, based on the cruise that they were collected. The interpreted high-resolution Huntec DTS seismic-reflection data are organized into six groups, based on the 7 geomorphologic provinces of Orphan Basin: Sackville Spur and Canyon and Channel system (Appendix B1), Bonanza and Sheridan canyon and channel systems (Appendix B2-3), Trinity Trough Fan Complex (Appendix B4), Orphan Spur (Appendix B5), and Bedrock High (Appendix B6). Through this organization of the seismic-reflection data, the reader can easily guide herself through the various geomorphic areas, and observe spatial evolution of these features. The high and low resolution PDF files of the core logs and seismic-reflection information The DVD is organized as follows: Readme.txt licence_e.txt Open File disclaimer Directories: D:\OpenFile 4299 (Manuscript and Data) - Contains OpenFile5299.pdf - This is a Portable Document Format file that can be read using Adobe(r)Acrobat(r)Reader(r) version 4.05 or later.
