Applications Directory (\apps) --------------------------------------- Contains installation file(s) for ArcExplorer™. ArcExplorer™ The installation file for ArcExplorer™ v 2.0 for Windows® was downloaded from http://www.esri.com/software/arcexplorer. Please visit this web site for system requirements, documentation and user guides. The document arcexplorer_license.doc is the ArcExplorer license agreement that you agree to upon installation of ArcExplorer™. Installation of ArcExplorer™ under Windows® requires administrator privileges. During installation, files are put in the TEMP directory. A TEMP environment variable must be set and the TEMP directory should be writable. To install ArcExplorer™, run or double-click on the file ae2setup.exe and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. To get started quickly in viewing the digital data, start ArcExplorer™ and in the File menu, click Open Project. Navigate to the \data\demo directory on this CD-ROM and open the project file (*.aep). Data Directory (\data) ---------------------------- Contains data in two formats, each in its own subdirectory. Separate readme files specific to each format provide detailed information.
