When two sheets that were being edge matched had different contour intervals (for example 25 feet and 50 feet) the larger interval was used, but the contours in between were left on the map. Any small semi circle contours with no match in the adjoining sheet were deleted. Areas that were difficult to edge match in the corridor were found in 107D06. We believe this is due to older paper maps produced at different times leading to poor consistency between mapsheets with the errors being propagated to the digitized map versions.
