A bibliography of Quaternary geoscience information for British Columbia has been compiled (cut-off date = December 1986). The bibliography lists published
papers, monographs, maps, theses, and readily available manuscript reports concerned with various aspects of the Quaternary Period in British Columbia. Studies of stratigraphy, Quaternary history, geomorphology, paleoecology, sedimentology,
glaciation, and landslides constitute the bulk of the catalogued information, but documents in the fields of economic, environmental, and engineering geology, geochemistry, geochronology, glaciology, hydrology, seismology, soil science, tectonics,
and volcanology are also included. Company reports, abstracts of papers presented orally at scientific meetings, and documents of restricted availability have been excluded. The bibliography consists of two parts. The first part includes two master
reference lists, one for the offshore and another for land areas. The second part comprises 17 shorter, thematic reference lists. |
