Abstract(unpublished)
"The Glacier Atlas of Canada is a collection of maps produced as part of the Canadian Glacier Inventory Project. This project was initiated as part of Canada's contribution to the International Hydrological Decade (1965 to 1974). Although publication of this map series was suspended in the mid-seventies and gaps remain to be filled for some coverage areas, what has been created for this series thus far should prove useful in some aspects of glacier research. These map plates display glaciers and glacier regions. Glaciers are denoted by a numbering system, which is keyed to Canadian glacier inventory data. Perennial ice and snow, hydrological units and major drainage divides are also denoted."
