Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
This tool was developed to help educate individuals and professionals in the use of the Green Shores for Shoreline Development Credits and Ratings system. The Green Shores program helps to promote sustainable shoreline ecosystems and minimize climate change impacts for commercial, residential, institutional and park properties. This guide explains the Green Shores rating system and how to use it, as well as the 5 prerequisites and the 10 credits in the program. This newly updated version of the Shoreline Development Guide has expanded to apply to both marine, lake, and Atlantic Canada shorelines.
