Abstract | This survey assesses understanding and capacity of woodlot owners to respond to and manage their woodlots in conditions generated by a changing climate. |
Summary | (Plain Language Summary, not published) This report summarizes the results of a survey conducted in 2019 to assess the capacity of woodlot owners in New Brunswick to respond to, and manage,
their woodlots under a changing climate. The survey was part of a three-year project to increase the capacity of New Brunswick woodlots owners to adapt to climate change, and helped to establish a baseline to measure progress against over the
project's three-year time horizon. Survey results will also help to guide the design of workshops, webinars, silviculture tool content, and approaches to updating forest management plans. |
