This report presents the development of the novel system for the real-time forecasting of geomagnetically induced currents in power network. The proposed
methods of the forecast are based on the forecast of the geomagnetic activity, which is currently provided by the Space Weather Forecast Centre, Natural Resources Canada. Results and evaluations demonstrate the sufficient quality of the proposed
forecast. |
