The intent of the project was to gain a better understanding of the status of the existing floodplain mapping across Canada, by developing an online portal with the intent of supporting the integration of new mapping projects and to make data integration and reporting on provincial activities easier to track and manage. NRCan partnered with Conservation Ontario for this project.
