Summary | (Plain Language Summary, not published) In 1964, interpreted seismic reflection profiles, a sediment thickness map, and a map of depth to bedrock in Lake Erie were included in the unpublished
Ph.D. thesis of Dr. Nabil Assad Morgan of the Department of Physics at the University of Toronto. These interpretations and compilations have never been published in the scientific literature. Ongoing research in the Great Lakes by geoscientists
within the Geological Survey of Canada, and their colleagues in Canada and the Unites States, means that it is now essential to revive Dr. Morgan's work and release it in an Open File for general access. |
