| Abstract | (Summary)
The sample of molybdenite ore submitted analysed 0.80% MoS?. In gravity and electrostatic separation tests at coarse size, no success attended efforts to recover the molybdenite.
However, in flotation tests at -35 and -48 mesh, about 83% of the molybdenite was recovered at a concentrate grade of 86% to 88% MoS?. Regrinding prior to cleaner flotation increased the grade to 96.5% without a significant drop in
recovery. |
