Abstract(Summary)
No satisfactory concentration of the molybdenite could be made when Wilfley tables were used. The sample treated in Test No. 2 gave a flotation concentrate grading 85.9% MoS? with a recovery of 89.1%. The reagents used to float MoS?, were kerosene and pine oil with Na?SiO? or lactic acid, an a depressant of the mica.
