Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
This open file poster presents a review of work on pericratonic terranes in Yukon under the GEM Cordillera project. This work focused on establishing constraints on major crustal breaks within and between two major geological terranes, and on the internal composite nature Yukon-Tanana terrane. The work provide a simple tectonic model for accretion of Yukon-Tanana on to the North American craton, and hopes to influence mineral explorationists in their exploration strategies of Northern Cordillera.
