Summary | (Plain Language Summary, not published) This tool was developed to assess the costs and benefits of making proactive investments in adaptation measures at mine sites compared with responding to
climate change impacts when effects are realized. The report provides the results of applying the tool to do this assessment for four mine sites in Ontario and Quebec. The results demonstrate that the modelling tool can assist managers to
identify those mine sites with greater risk of climate change impacts, and to determine the financial viability of potential investments in adaptation measures. Information from environmental assessments. |
