Summary | (Plain Language Summary, not published) This presentation provides a nontechnical summary of the results of a qualitative energy and mineral resource assessment completed by NRCan's Geological
Survey of Canada (GSC) approximately 200,000 km2 of seabed offshore from British Columbia in 150 to 3600 m water depth. This presentation was presented at Offshore Pacific Area of Interest engagement sessions on May 2 and 3, 2018, to help inform the
engagement and decision making process for areas Canada proposes to protect as part of its commitment to conserve 10% of its marine and coastal waters by 2020. This presentation complements the GSC Open File Report 8390. |
