La partie 2 de cette série de cours intensifs passe en revue les types de gîtes au sein des systèmes minéralisateurs à oxydes de fer et éléments alcalins et calciques, leur classification, leur répartition mondiale et celle des systèmes d'intérêt au Canada, leurs âges, leurs contextes de formation, leurs faciès d'altération et les modèles métallogéniques invoqués. Ces systèmes renferment des gîtes à oxydes de fer cuivre-or (IOCG) et leurs variantes riches en Co et Bi, des gîtes à oxydes de ferapatite (IOA), y compris leurs variantes riches en terres rares, ainsi que certains gîtes à U ± Co ± Au et Au±Co±Cu encaissés dans des albitites, gîtes à Mo-Re et skarns polymétalliques. Un continuum avec des systèmes épithermaux est également commun.

Part 2 of the short course series on IOCG and affiliated deposits reviews the deposit types, classification, distribution, ages, settings, alteration facies and ore deposit models of iron oxide and related alkali-calcic alteration ore systems. These systems include iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) deposits and their Co- and Bi-rich variants, iron oxide-apatite (IOA) deposits and their rare-earth element-rich variants, some albitite-hosted U and Au-Co-U deposits, Mo-Re deposits and polymetallic skarn deposits. The course also discusses the continuum with epithermal systems and polymetallic vein deposits. Two main examples are used, the systems from the Great Bear magmatic zone in Canada and the Olympic Dam deposit in Australia. Additional information is provided in this French version as fewer scientific papers are available on these topics in French.
