Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
A digital atlas of geochemical maps graphically illustrates relative concentrations of metals in lake sediments from northeastern Quebec and adjacent areas of Labrador. The main aims of this atlas are to provide high quality, homogeneous geochemical maps for mineral exploration and a better understanding of processes that influence the distribution of metals in surficial environments. A new bedrock geology compilation, topographic maps and selected economic mineral occurrence locations are included. This is a cooperative project with the participation of the federal government and the provinces of Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador.
