As part of the Targeted Geoscience Initiative of the Geological Survey of Canada, we have investigated the composition of a glacial sediment deposited by glaciers (till) in the region of four copper mineralized zones in British Columbia. Three of those mineralized zones are active mines. Our objective is to identify the geochemical (e.g. copper concentrations) and mineralogical (e.g. specific copper minerals such as chalcopyrite) indicators present in glacial sediment near these mineralized zones. This report presents the results of all geochemical and mineralogical analyses conducted on the glacial sediment samples.
