Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
The Open Government Licence - Canada User Guide is intended to inform users of Canada's open geospatial data assets about the nature and scope of Canada's Open Government Licence and to help guide their interactions with it. The goal of this guide is to help users fully understand the OGL-C (open.canada.ca/en/open-government-licence-canada) before downloading any available resources from Canada's Open Data Portal. Section 1 offers a clause-by-clause description of the licence with a view to explaining how it works in plain language. Section 2 offers three descriptive "Use Scenarios" that illustrate how the licence may be applied when accessing, using, redistributing or mashing-up any data licensed under the OGL-C.
