Summary | (Plain Language Summary, not published) This publication consists of Object Pascal source code, generated using Borland Delphi 7 Enterprise, for three database management utilities that
comprise GlobalDBSystem. GlobalDBSystem interfaces were developed to manage relational databases in GlobalDBSchema, a database schema implemented in Microsoft Access for mineral deposit databases compiled during (and after) the World Minerals
Geoscience Database Project (WMGDP: 1998-2004). The WMGDP was supported by the Geological Survey of Canada and industry partners. All products are being made available to the public. GShell is used to enter and edit data in the databases. GQuery is
a database interrogation program and allows the extraction of data and the production of spreadsheets and sets of HTML pages. GDBSTools is used to maintain the databases, verify their compliance to the master model and data integrity, and produce
export datasets. There are user manuals for GShell and GQuery but no technical manual. |
