Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
The Tri-territorial (TriT) Bedrock Database contains data holdings that constitute a comprehensive and authoritative source of knowledge for the geology of the Canadian North. The holdings consist of extensive descriptions of geological units and structures found on maps ranging in scale from 1:200,000 to 1:5,000,000. It is anticipated the database will become widely useful to scientists, educators, and other professionals. This report describes the motivation, principles, and technical design of the TBDB.
