The Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI-4) is a collaborative federal geoscience program that provides industry with the next generation of geoscience knowledge and innovative techniques to better detect buried mineral deposits, thereby reducing some of the risks of exploration. Data release for TGI-4 Meliadine Research Activity. Samples were collected from exploration drill core and from surface along the newly constructed road between the Meliadine Exploration Camp and Rankin Inlet. Data release includes two datasets: (1) conventional whole-rock geochemistry; and (2) unconventional portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF) spectrometry.
