2014) presents a big picture integrating good pieces of science, resource use, and future prospects in regard to water, and particularly groundwater. It is very agreeable to read. The book can be useful for an audience large and broad requiring
knowledge of the science, management and use of groundwater; as well as for lay readers. Even though most of the material presented is on and about the water situation in the US, it provides nonetheless a unique global overview. |
