The poster presents the preliminary results of a 3-year activity in Environmental Geoscience that was accomplished in collaboration with the Polar Continental Shelf Program, Queen¿s University and Carleton University (2011-2014). The poster and report provide an overview of field work on Victoria Island, Northwest Territories (2011), and Axel Heiberg Island, Nunavut (2013). The principal themes of the poster are: remote predictive mapping, stratigraphy, mineralogy and geochemistry of gossans associated with continental flood basalts.
