Summary(Plain Language Summary, not published)
The Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI-4) is a collaborative federal geoscience program that provides industry with the next generation of geoscience knowledge and innovative techniques to better detect buried mineral deposits, thereby reducing some of the risks of exploration. This presentation discusses the Ni-Cu and platinum-group element prospects of the Portneuf-Mauricie Domain, in the Grenville Province. In this contribution, we present: 1) the regional geological setting, 2) the model proposed to explain the formation of the mineralisation, and 3) the exploration implications with the most prospective area for nickel, copper, and platinum-group element exploration in the Grenville.
