AbstractThis Geological Survey of Canada Open File presents a digital compilation of previously published surficial geology maps at 1:125,000 and 1:250,000 scale for the Mackenzie River valley, Northwest Territories. The data compilation is presented in ESRI® shapefile format and solely identifies surficial materials. The compilation was used as a data source to parameterize surficial materials for ground thermal modeling in the Mackenzie River valley.

This Geological Survey of Canada Open File presents a digital compilation of previously published surficial geology maps at 1:125,000 and 1:250,000 scale for the Mackenzie River valley, Northwest Territories. The data compilation is presented in geographic information systems shapefile format and identifies surficial materials. The compilation was used as a data source to determine surficial materials for ground thermal modeling in the Mackenzie River valley.
