AbstractA hydrogeochemical study was conducted in the downstream part of the Chaudière River watershed with an objective to complete the groundwater quality assessment started in 2009 and to determine the major hydrogeological and geochemical processes and their evolution. Water samples were collected from 155 wells located along major flow lines and in various hydrological settings. The samples were analysed for major, minor and trace constituents and stable and radioisotopes. Based on hydrochemistry results and multivariate analyses a geochemical evolution model was proposed to corroborate the flow regime.
