AbstractThis Open File presents thirty-six stratigraphic sections measured by the late J.D. Aitken during studies of the Neoproterozoic Little Dal Group in the Mackenzie Mountains, N.W.T. The sections are presented in Dr. Aitken's original, hand-drafted versions, which generally are more detailed than versions published during his lifetime. Descriptive notes were transcribed onto many of the sections by Dr. Aitken. All the informal formations currently recognized within the Little Dal Group are represented in this report. Some sections also include strata belonging to the Katherine, Coates Lake, or Rapitan groups, or to the Twitya or Franklin Mountain formations.
