AbstractIn Gaspesie peninsula, an unstable rock slope has been identified near Port-Daniel-Gascons. This unstable slope stands approximately from sea level up to 100m above the Baie des Chaleurs. Sixty-three meter above mean sea level, a railway runs across the landslide. In 2009, a complete automated monitoring network has been installed. This system has been developed to monitor parameters that could lead to failure or to acceleration of the current deformation rates. In order to link these deformations to the landslide morphology, an airborne LiDAR survey has been conducted to define the reference elevation model.
