Abstract | (unpublished) This fully integrated, commercial-scale project involves rebuilding an existing coal-fired power generating unit to produce 100 MW of net clean power and capture up to 1 Mt per
year of CO2 by 2015. CO2 will initially be injected into the enhanced oil recovery project at the Weyburn-Midale oil fields and will later be injected for permanent sequestration. The Boundary Dam Project is a partnership among the Government of
Canada, the Province of Saskatchewan, SaskPower and industry. |
