| Abstract | Thermal maturity of Tertiary and Cretaceous strata has been assessed using per cent huminite (vitrinite) reflectance in oil (%Ro) for the Adlartok P-09, Amerk O-09, Edlok N-56, Ikhil K-35, Sarpik B-35,
Hansen G-07 and Havik B-41 wells, Beaufort Sea-Mackenzie Delta area, Northwest Territories. In general, coalification/thermal maturity ranges from ~ 0.15 to 0.25 %Ro at surface to ~ 0.60-0.65 %Ro at 3-3.5 km, to ~ 0.70-0.75 %Ro at 5 km
depth. |
