Abstract | A comparative analysis was carried out for various radiometric correction treatments applied to NOAA AVHRR channel 1 and 2 data compared to a reference case consisting of data corrected with
time-dependent calibration coefficients and a standard atmosphere. Also, relative errors were assessed for data corrected with an assumed aerosol optical depth versus corrections based on measured aerosol optical depth values. (From Author)
