| Abstract | The bibliography of marine Quaternary investigations of the Pacific Shelf and inside waterways of Canada and adjacent areas of the United States includes about 200 major geologic reports. There are
approximately another 400 reports of either supporting importance or other indirect relationship to the study of marine surficial sediments. The areal extent of each listed investigation is shown on an Inventory Map. Main sources of information
include many governmental agencies and academic research projects. A large number of consultant geotechnical references have yet to be added. Efforts have been made to acquire information on the 17-18 critical estuaries currently under review by
several agencies of the Department of Environment, including their Estuary Working Group. As the bibliography is updated, consultant geotechnical studies of inshore areas and investigations of the Pacific offshelf deep areas will be referenced as a
second phase to this project. |
