AbstractBelleoram map-area, on the south coast of Newfoundland, comprises an assemblage of Late Precambrian and lower to middle Paleozoic sedimentary and volcanic rocks cut by several granitic intrusions and by basic and silicic dykes which are the youngest consolidated rocks in the area. Molybdenite deposits are present near Recontre Lake and fluorite o c curs in a few widely separated localities.
